The band started with one member, Elizabeth Glenday. She had a vision and started writing pop songs. Unusual to her as she had only ever studied and played classical music on piano. She invited her drummer friend, Eleanore Plummer, to come and have a listen. To Eleanore's surprise the songs were really great, and she wanted to become a part of Elizabeth's vision.





For a while they searched everywhere for other band members, but could never find the right people. Elizabeth started getting singing lessons so that she could sing in the band, but not only did she find a great singing teacher, she also found a lead singer for the band. Their first rehearsal with Tahlee Rose, they knew that she would fit in perfectly.





With three girls in the band they were hoping to have an all girl band. However it turned out that it's hard to find girl bass and guitar players in newcastle. So they gave up on that idea, and their next priority was to find ANY band members. They gave in one poster to the local music shop, even though they said they wouldn't put the signs up. It was months later when they got contacted from Craig Rattray, who found us from that one poster. The girls excepted him instantly when he showed so much dedication and commitment even before the first rehearsal.





The band was then without a guitarist, so Tahlee's boyfriend Andrew McLachlan stepped in and he made the band complete. Together they have been rehearsing hard and developing their sound to bring you BUNKER!
